The answer is yes but there are restrictions:

- Log needs to be enabled while performing data loading with "LOAD log yes" If the REORG is SHRLEVEL CHANGE and the tablespace is compressed, Use either REORG "keepdictionary" or make sure the DB2 utilities are running on the same subsystem to which the Oracle GoldenGate extract is connected. This is to make sure that all compression dictionary are available before replication process processes all the logs.
- If the REORG(s) they run as SHRLEVEL REFERENCE, then there is no need to change any Oracle extract process, because no tables in the tablespace can be updated while the REORG is running.
- Is this a data sharing environment? If so, can you run utilities on the same subsystem-id (ssid) to which extract is connected ?
- What shrlevel option do you plan to use for REORG?
- Can you tolerate a quiescence window for the tables during loading or REORG?
- Can you enable "load log yes"? If not ,why?
