Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data (#BigData) was introduced in February 2015 [1]. It is an Oracle GoldenGate (#OracleGoldenGate) product streaming real-time data from heterogeneous data sources into Big Data systems.

- It's a delivery-only replication built in Java.
- it supports both Big Data and NoSQL repositories.
- The big data repositories include Apache Hadoop, Cloudera CDH, Apache HBase, Apache Hive, Apache Flume, Apache Kafka (Confluent) , Apache Storm, Apache Spark, MapR Hadoop (HDFS, HIVE, Kafka), and AWS Kinesis.
- The NoSQL repositories are Oracle NoSQL, MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, Datastax Enterprise Cassandra.
- It supports Amazon Redshift (PostgreSQL 8.0.2), IBM PureData System for Analytics (Netezza) and many others. [4]
- It provides a generic JDBC connector.
- It supports Elastic Search.
- It supports delimited text, XML, JASON and AVRO data format.
- The current version is 12.3.1.1 released on Aug 18, 2017.
