This blog discusses how you can configure Oracle GoldenGate to perform a real-time data capture from the AWS MySQL RDS database.The described approach creates a MySQL slave database on AWS EC2 first, and then configures Oracle GoldenGate for MySQL to capture from the MySQL slave database.
